KNIT Architecture promotes four architects to key positions

KNIT, a leading architectural design firm with offices in Nevada, Utah, Idaho and Washington, announced the promotion of four seasoned professionals to new positions:
- Brett Anderson, AIA, was named Studio Leader
- Victoria Cousino, AIA, was named Director of Design
- Danny McGinnis, AIA, was named Director of Operation
- Jay Lam was advanced to Architectural Staff II
KNIT CEO Eric M. Roberts said he is proud of the caliber of his team.
Brett Anderson
Anderson earned a bachelor’s in architecture from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2010. Prior to that he studied computer aided drafting and design at one of the top STEM schools in the country, Advanced Technologies Academy. In addition to his work at KNIT, Anderson owns Territory Media, a creative graphic design company that provides solutions in web, conceptual development, 3-D modeling and more. He also serves as vice chairman of the board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada.
Victoria Cousino
Cousino has more than 10 years of industry experience, nine with KNIT. She earned a Master of Architecture from the University of New Mexico in 2015, and a bachelor’s in architectural engineering from Vermont Technical College in 2012. She serves on the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Las Vegas Board of Directors and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada and the Nevada Outdoor Business Coalition. Cousino joined KNIT because she was drawn to the firm’s “community-focused, people-oriented approach to the profession.”
Danny McGinnis
McGinnis has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry leading federal architectural projects and teams. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees in architecture and environmental design from North Dakota State University in 2005 and 2006. McGinnis also volunteers with Friends of Nevada Wilderness and the Outside Las Vegas Foundation.
Jay Lam
Lam has more than six years’ experience in the field and joined the junior architectural staff at KNIT in February 2024. Prior to joining KNIT, Lam worked as an architectural designer for Kestrel Design Group and completed an internship with MJ Neal Associate Architects. Lam earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Washington in 2019.
