The Engelstad Clubhouse is a gathering hub for the areas diverse youth.  Constructed in an established urban neighborhood, the two-story clubhouse is designed to maximize the available space that fosters members personal growth in a safe, positive and inclusive environment.  Playful patterns and bright colors are appealing to the members while embracing the Boys & Girls Clubs of America visual brand guidelines. Knit introduced multiple sustainable design strategies into the project achieving a LEED Gold Rating through the United Stated Green Building Council (USGBC).  This also provides an opportunity to utilize the building as a learning tool being a positive example of sustainable architecture.  An innovative design approach balanced the educational and recreational spaces throughout the project while ensuring a unique experience and fun space that inspires every person that enters the clubhouse.
