Knit (Formerly ART) was hired by SCJ Alliance as their architect to design a new park and ride facility for Mason Transit Authority. The facility is 3,000 SF and houses restrooms, offices, a breakroom, kitchen and a community meeting space. The surrounding area provides parking areas for the public to leave their cars to ride transportation to other off site locations. Included in the back of the facility is a secure area for parking of transit buses and includes a steel canopy overhang outside of the building for covered protection for driver’s to clean MTA transportation buses and temporary parking to access the park and ride facility.
