SHARCHITECTURE designed this 5-story office building for the Nevada Division of Parole and Probation. The Division of Parole and Probation has two distinct challenges; Parole and Probation employees ensure public safety through monitoring and supervising offenders, and they provide services to assist offenders with re-integration into the community. The balance of supervision, enforcement, and service performed by Parole and Probation staff, in addition to the extensive administrative functions of the Division, calls for an inventive interpretation of the traditional office building.

The new 6-story office building and 3 1/2 level Parking Garage were built on the Downtown Las Vegas site of a 1954 office building. Some of the key factors influencing the building design were security, interior work environment, and street presence. Floor plates on the office levels are designed to maximize daylight penetration into the space. Exterior louvers provide protection from direct sunlight and glare.
